Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives Gibsons
Formed in 2002 when the Elphinstone Pioneer Museum and Sunshine Coast Maritime Museum joined forces, this two-storey attraction features exhibits from the past, including period costumes, First Nations artifacts, old machinery parts, and reconstructions of early 20th century rooms. Admission is by donation.

Egmont Heritage Centre
The Egmont Heritage Centre is a new museum that tells the story of Native and early pioneer settlers with emphasis on the logging and fishing heritage. There are special collections of Vivian and Easthope engines, antique bottles and Depression glass, a children's area and a gift shop.

House of Hewhiwus
This impressive cultural centre proudly showcases anything and everything representative of the Sunshine Coast's First Nations' culture, including books, plays, artwork and crafts. The Sechelt band government offices, the Raven's Cry theatre, and the Tsain-Ko giftshop & Gallery are all located on site.

Powell River Historical Museum and Archives
The collection of artifacts located at the museum covers the areas unique history between Jervis Inlet and Desolation Sound, including the islands of Texada, Harwood and Savary. From the First Nations people of Sliammon to the Logging history of Powell River.

The Sundowner Inn Museum
The Sundowner Inn was the original site of the St. Mary's Hospital, but nowadays it is a 10-room Inn for visitors to the area. The museum, located in the chapel, features displays of period artifacts as well as crafts and artwork by local artisans. The Inn has been the sight of some spooky occurrences, prompting some to label it as haunted.
